🌊Thrown into the deep end
My first ERP implementation - SAP Business One, real client, real deadline. No sandbox, no practice environment, no safety net. Everything I learned, I learned by doing it live. The client paid for my learning curve. That never sat right with me.

Years later, I'm hiring consultants. Resumes say 'Odoo experience.' Interviews say otherwise. You can't test functional knowledge the way you test a developer - there's no LeetCode for ERP consultants. So you trust the resume, hope for the best, and spend months hand-holding anyway.

Every partner I worked with ran into the same wall. Onboarding a new consultant meant: watch these videos, read this documentation, shadow someone for a few weeks, and then... good luck. There was no structured way to practice, no way to verify what someone actually knows, no starting line to build from.

LeetCode, HackerRank, endless documentation, AI-generated practice problems - devs could sharpen their skills any time they wanted. Functional consultants? Odoo's own materials, a few YouTube channels, and the community. That was it. Trial and error on live projects was still the default training method.
